Who I am can’t be defined by one role or title. I’m a Makeup Artist. I’m a company owner. I’m a CEO. I’m a woman who cares about how you feel when you look in the mirror. I’m someone who endeavors to make women feel beautiful inside and out. I’m someone who can help you see your beauty and your potential to match your outside beauty with your internal strength and beauty. I’m someone who helps build your self-esteem in hopes you begin to see your self-worth differently.
Beauty has no one definition. I’m not trying to turn someone into a total re-creation. I’m simply bringing out the beauty that I see hiding inside. It’s your beauty and it is my honor to expose it.
I have eighteen years of experience and I never want to stop learning. I have worked with women of all ages and colors and I adjust accordingly to bring out your individual beauty, not a one size fits all look. My Medical Aesthetician background and certification allows me give the best advice to get your skin in its best condition for your special event. My life is a journey trying to rediscover our best selves constantly.
I’ve guest beauty-blogged for numerous blogs, and have achieved the honor of having the national publication, “Brides Magazine” naming Simply Gorgeous by Erin as one of the top beauty studios in the country. I’ve worked with celebrities, politicians, news anchors and your everyday woman and they all have the same desire – to look their best.
I invest in my team. I know clients who book with us want the assurance of knowing whoever they work with from my team can deliver the best services available. I train each team member regardless of their skill level when they first start with Simply Gorgeous by Erin so that we’re all on the same page and the client knows they’ll get top notch skills for makeup application and hair styling. My team is comprised of skilled, intelligent and professionals only. We’re all passionate about what we do and love the women we beautify. I don’t hire anyone who doesn’t possess the entire package: fabulous skills, a brain with substance, and a professional disposition.
I describe our general style for bridal as “Relaxed Glamour”. I like to think we’re a cross between Charlize Theron’s effortless beauty, Ivanka Trump’s commanding beauty, and a young Sophia Loren’s elegant and sexy beauty all rolled into one. And Wonder Woman….because she’s bad ass and looks damn good while kicking ass.
